Personal History

My name is Connor Matney and I am 6 years old. I am in first grade and live in Columbus, Indiana. I started riding my atv at the age of 3 and fell in love with the sport immediately. In 2015 my dad purchased a 2010 DRR race ready at which point I was itching to jump into the racing scene as soon as possible. I have 2 younger siblings who love watching me compete and support me 110%.  I look forward to the upcoming season with IXCR and plan on continuing my experience and love for the sport.

Riding Goals

I began riding my first atv when I was 3 years old. At the age of 6, in 2015 my dad gave me a DRR 50 at which time I could not wait to start my competitive adventure. I competed in my first official race in November of 2015. Even though it was the last race of the season I gave it all I had and was determined to finish in the top 10. Half way through the race I encountered mechanical issues, but with my quick trouble shooting abilities I was able to get back in the race and achieve my goal of a top 10 finish. I am looking forward to an up coming season to make several more top 10 finishes and with my determination I plan to take the number 1 spot. 

Competitive Highlights

I have only competed in 1 official race, of which I was able to bring in a top 10 finish. During the off season I have spent my free time practicing and furthering my skills and experience. I feel very confident in a strong season in 2016 and look forward to making several podium appearances throughout the season.
