Personal History

I just graduated from Summertown high school. I am a certified lifeguard and scuba diver. I am interested in going into the medical field in the future. I like the outdoors, hanging with my friends, and riding quads.

I started riding quads when I was about 10 years old. My first quad was a Suzuki LT160 that my dad picked up from a friend of ours. It was on this little quad that I truly developed a love for riding. My sister and I put countless hours on the little Suzuki until it was pretty much worn out. As I grew my dad would let me ride his Polaris Sportsman 500 around the yard some. Then for Christmas of 2007 my sister and I got a Honda 250EX . This was a pretty good step up from the little Suzuki. We outfitted it with some nerf bars and it wasn't long before I was ripping up the woods around our house (or so it seemed at the time). It wasn't long before my dad couldn't keep up with me on his Polaris, so he decided to trade it for a Raptor 660. He was very reluctant to let me on the Raptor at first, but I gradually demonstrated that I could ride it better than he could. He decided to go back to riding a dirt bike, so the Raptor became my primary ride.

In Oct. of 2008 I entered my first MSWS Harescamble in Crofton, KY. I finished 3rd in the beginner class, so I had to move to the 16-20 year old C class. I entered 6 more races in the 2008-2009 season and finished with three tropies and three DNF's due to mechanical problems.
